Project Overview

I led the full creative and technical build of The Cocoon’s digital presence — from initial vision through website launch and brand activation. Working directly with the co-founders, I mapped out every aspect of their messaging, designed and wire-framed the site in Figma, and built the final product in WordPress to ensure long-term usability.

This wasn’t just a website — it was a holistic brand transformation. I supported Clare and Gina through every phase of the creative process, from refining their story and structuring their offerings to writing compelling copy, producing video content, and leading digital outreach. I also developed a promotional strategy for their annual Women’s Day event and helped establish their presence across email, social media, and press channels.

Scope of Work

Brand Messaging & Narrative Development
  • Collaboratively refined The Cocoon’s mission, vision, and brand story to speak clearly to their diverse audience — women in transition, healthcare professionals, and wellness-focused organizations.
  • Wrote all website copy to maximize flow, clarity, and emotional resonance across every page.
Website Design & Development
  • Wireframed the entire website in Figma, then translated the layout into a custom WordPress build optimized for the clients' ease of use.
  • Designed each page to reflect the emotional tone and professionalism of The Cocoon's offerings — integrating photos, testimonials, scheduling tools, and program details.

Content Creation & Asset Design
  • Created and edited video content for the website and social media.
  • Designed flyers, promo graphics, and branded content templates for events and ongoing outreach.
  • Produced custom assets for newsletters, speaker spotlights, and digital downloads.
Social Media & Email Marketing
  • Set up The Cocoon’s social media platforms and created initial content and strategy guides.
  • Developed and managed Mailchimp email campaigns to support community engagement and event promotions.

 Promotional Strategy & Event Support
  • Wrote the full press pitch and coordinated outreach for The Cocoon’s Women’s Day Event.
  • Created promotional video scripts, early-bird countdown emails, flash sale graphics, and speaker highlights to boost urgency and attendance.
  • Designed referral and influencer engagement tools to increase reach and retention.
